Composting Toilet

Toolshed, teapot and toilet are the natural order of priorities when starting a community garden and while we have got through a couple of sheds and a teapot or two, our first long-suffering treebog lasted nearly 20 years. It has now been retired and demoted to a shed where all the garden nettings go to get themselves tangled up.

But the new composting toilet, bigger, better and at ground level, has more space than many ‘starter homes’ with enough spare to double as a store for the chicken feed. It’s not only on the level, it also has double doors to make it wheelchair compliant, and is accessible via an all-weather path.
